About Me
Where It All Started
When I was five years old, my grandpa was watching me and I asked him to help me find the sewing supplies so I could fix a tear in my dress. He asked me if I knew how to do it myself and I said yes. (I did not!) He let me do it, but kept a close eye on me as he was rightfully skeptical of my skills. When my parents came home, they were surprised and amused that I was able to figure it out and convince my grandpa that I knew what I was doing!
At college, I decided to pursue my interest in sewing and I took a class called Costume Construction. My professor taught me how to use a sewing machine and almost everything else I know! I ended up working under her as an assistant seamstress for three years.
Currently, I'm branching out and giving my hobby a chance to develop into a marketable skill and service in my community!

Where do we meet for a fitting or consultation?
I will come to you! There's an address section in the "Schedule a Fitting" Form for this reason. I am based in Mishawaka, IN and I'm willing to drive to serve the Michiana area.
Alterations
How long does it take to finish alterations?
As you might expect, the answer will vary based on the project. I predict one week for most alterations.
Custom Designs
Can I request a different kind of sewing project or something not on the pricing menu?
Absolutely! I will do my best to bring your design to life or point you toward an expert who can help. I charge $12 an hour for my work.
